Why WPS in Brief?

Many people have said to me that they want to be informed about what’s generally happening in Worcester Public Schools, but they understandably don’t have the bandwidth to pay attention to all the meetings. My goal with WPS in Brief is to offer key takeaways from Worcester Public School Committee meetings and standing committee meetings, and help folks stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.

With concise, abridged version of meetings, I hope this newsletter can offer an entry point to understanding what’s happening in the governance of the Worcester Public Schools. It also means I am not including everything that happened at these meetings, but I will provide other resources if folks want to learn more or get detailed information about particular topics.
